Strip resort reaches deal with Culinary Union | Casino and games

The list of casinos that have yet to agree terms with the Culinary Union on a new contract is slowly dwindling with less than a week until the strike expires.

Nearly 700 union workers agreed to the terms of a five-year contract with Circus Circus late Friday night, according to a press release from the union.

Negotiations continue with officials at the 15 remaining independent casino properties on the Strip and in downtown Las Vegas for 4,000 workers before the 5 a.m. strike deadline on Feb. 2, 2024.

The union said a vote to ratify the Circus Circus contract will be scheduled soon.
